First as a commissioned officer for 25 years on active duty, then another 15 years as the National Executive Director of the Young Marines, and finally, 10 years as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Young Marines National Foundation.

Mrs. Fuqua is better known as the “do it for the kids” adult volunteer. With nearly 20 years in service to the Young Marines she has made an incredible impact on our youth. Her tireless commitment and unwavering loyalty still ripples through the Cincinnati Young Marines. Touching the lives of over 200 youth and Adult Volunteers, she has been a mentor, friend and family to all.
